Just in time for Valentine’s Day – something sweet, bite size of course.
I tried these out last weekend for a superbowl sweet, and they were a nice ending to a dinner of appetizers. Simple to make – no bake – and only three ingredients!
Oreo Cake Bites
Makes 18 bits
2/3 package of double stuffed oreos, pulsed in food processor or blender, reserve some for garnish
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
White dipping chocolate (not white chocolate morsels, these will be too thick)
Pull cream cheese out of refrigerator for 2 hours or so, until it’s softened.
Mix cream cheese with oreo crumbs, I prefer to do with clean hands.
Roll into little balls, place on baking sheet covered in wax paper.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes, the dipping chocolate will coat better on the mixture when it’s cold.
Heat dipping chocolate according to package instructions.
Pull bites out of refrigerator, coat in dipping chocolate, remove with fork and place back on baking sheet.
Sprinkle with oreo crumbles for garnish.
Let set 15+ minutes, and refrigerator until ready to eat.
